Over one million people live in Los Angeles County. Unfortunately, there are families who struggle every day to get the basic necessities. One of them is food. With recent economic shortcomings, increasing unemployment rates and government budget cuts, nonprofits organizations in Los Angeles are pressed for meeting the demands of those needing support.
The Los Angeles Regional Foodbank distributes 1.25 million pounds of food on a weekly basis. The LA Regional Foodbank relies on several sources to sustain their level of service. One of these sources are public food drives. The "HIP HOP FOR HUMANITY CANNED FOOD DRIVE" is doing exactly that. They will be hosting a public event to help support local communities and help families for the holidays.
Come out and support our LA Community and have the opportunity to meet well known and respected music performers.

I'm glad to introduce the official Strait Jacket Life Blog. But before I can begin posting, I have to start with a brief introduction. Strait Jacket Life originates from tragedy and triumph. One of the things that these cold streets teaches us is that perseverance and spirit is mandatory. Most would not be capable of coping and adapting to daily life in an asylum. By asylum, we mean these brutal streets that continue to make everyday, that much worth the struggle. We walk around with strait jackets as a badge of honor and as a rites of passage.
We are currently in the progress of launching the Strait Jacket Life LLC. Launching pad is Los Angeles and we hope to share our vision and style to others outside of our asylum.
Thanks for you're support and positive feedback. We will definitely keep you posted on our progress and events.
